Kansas City, Kansas: 3-Acre TCE Groundwater Plume Applied with delivery system assembled by PSA 4,400 gallons of 12% hydrogen peroxide and 2,000 gallons of catalyst for the chemical breakdown of TCE. Apparatus assembled by PSA is a low-pressure diaphragm multi-valved system.
Griffith, Indiana: Aromatic Hydrocarbon Plume. Applied, in conjunction with Isotec, Inc., over 90,000 gallons of 12% hydrogen peroxide and 60,000 gallons of catalyst for the breakdown of total petroleum hydrocarbons. Over 375 locations from 18 to 24 feet bgs. Project lasted 23 days and was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Missouri: Injection of 9000 pounds of HRC® at 150 locations from 30 feet bgs. Projects interrupted by evacuation ordered due to September 11th events. Expected to resume before the end of 2001.
